At Alice Lane Home Collection, payment is processed upon placing your order, not when your items are shipped. This ensures that an item will be reserved for you. A preorder item can be cancelled up to 120 days after the order is placed. If a preordered item is cancelled, the refund will be issued to the original form of payment. When ordering in-stock items, along with preorder items, your order will arrive in multiple shipments. If a preorder item is requested to be cancelled after the 120-day Preorder Policy, or after the item has been prepared to ship, it will follow their normal Cancellation & Refund Policy. This includes a 20% cancellation fee. When a cancellation request comes after an item has shipped, it will fall into their normal Return Policy. In this instance, all return and restocking fees become the customer's responsibility. For returns, they want the process to be enjoyable and simple. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or wrong, you should notify your sales representative within 48 hours of receiving your item to initiate a claim. All returns must be in their original condition and with their original packaging. Some items are returnable, including accessories, unused/unwashed bedding, books, dishes, uninstalled lighting or items that arrive damaged, and defective or incorrect items. However, any special-order furniture, gift cards, furniture, rugs, art, mirrors, wallpaper, final sale items or clearance items, holiday or seasonal merchandise, items damaged through normal wear & tear, lighting fixtures that have been installed, any items delivered more than 14 days ago, and items with natural imperfections are not returnable.
As for shipping, Alice Lane’s team of dedicated logistic specialists will determine the best and most efficient shipping method based on the merchandise you purchase. Most items such as lighting, accessories, art, mirrors, and rugs will ship via UPS, USPS, or FedEx. You will receive an e-mail with a tracking number once your items have shipped. Orders may arrive in multiple boxes or at various times. For large, heavy, or fragile items, a full residential delivery service is required. The shipping service will contact you to schedule a time to deliver the purchased merchandise to your front door. Please ensure your space is prepped and ready to receive the furnishings. The delivery team will not move existing furniture. If a delivery needs to be cancelled or rescheduled, please do so within 72 hours of the delivery.
